Advantages of this cupcake paper: - Cute - When stored in an airtight container, it behaves like ordinary cupcake paper. Cons: - They look very oily immediately after baking, until placed in an airtight container for a while. while (oiliness is not particularly attractive). They also seem to be licking more butter/butter into the muffin pans for some reason. They are more brittle than regular cupcake paper immediately after baking, until the cake is stored in an airtight container. At this point the paper will absorb some of the moisture from the cake or muffin and is probably about as strong as regular cupcake paper. At least the yellow paper seems to bleed through the grease that gets into the pan when using that paper, so the oil in the pan was as yellow as the oil-flavored crisco spray. Please note: I am comparing these to typical grocery store paper cupcake wrappers. I used the same banana cupcake recipe with both types of cupcake paper. The recipe calls for 1/3 cup butter (although I switched butters a long time ago and the butteriness was not affected when using standard grocery store cupcake paper). Conclusion: I will not buy them again. add: pink and yellow colored my cupcake liners! I haven't tried black yet. I could see that the green, red, and light purple didn't leach the color. Attention buyers! (Or should I say "dyer"?)
