These baking cups are cute and cheap, but they smell horrible. I'm guessing it's the smell of dyes because the smell is identical to cheap origami paper. I used these mugs to bake a sample recipe which was good as the smell lingered after baking. Dyes don't seem to transfer to food, but I don't want to serve anyone cupcakes baked in those smelly paper cups. Stick to plain white baking pans or spend a little more money on higher quality baking pans.

Terrible Bad Smell

Something is wrong with these cupcake liners. 3 minutes after I put the cupcakes in the oven where my warm, sweet aroma would normally appear, an awful, processed smell starts to emanate. When I first used them it was a new recipe and I thought maybe it was a weird recipe. But I just used them again. I made half my batch with other cupcake molds - a lovely smell comes out of the oven. And the other half with it... it smells so inedible I'm contemplating throwing out my baked goods. Oh, and they

The product is very satisfied.

The package was first opened in the undamaged shipping box, a part was missing. Revain exceeded my expectations. Second, I don't see any issues with weird smells or color washout. I've just made some paleo vanilla cupcakes with blue and had no issues with either, the liners worked as they should. The colors are beautiful and bright. Polka dots are a beautiful design that may or may not be used for any special occasion. It was exactly what I was looking for. I only gave 4 stars because the…

Terrible stench from those liners!

Today, two months after I ordered them, I saved these pretty muffin cases for a special occasion. I opened the package and was happily feeding the muffin cups when this horrible smell hit me! Oh God! I felt nauseous and immediately got a headache! What the hell did they paint those liners with!? Or is it the technical equipment, the paper used or another reason that I don't know. All I know is that there is something terribly wrong with a food wrap that smells so bad! I have to throw them away…

Not the best: molds for baking

I am only giving two stars because they arrived in perfect condition, they are actually very beautiful and durable (they don't fall apart/break). Otherwise, they're not worth it if you're trying to bake cupcakes for a party or maybe just selling them for post-oven use. In the oven they lost their color, the photos I shared are of the second batch, the first was much worse. Appearance wise I was going to try two coats BUT after realizing the ink had melted I decided not to use it again. My…

Mediocre cupcake holders

I bought these cupcake holders to make cupcakes and cupcakes without the mess of dirty pans and possibly crumbling cupcakes. I bought them because they had a good overall rating. I notice right away that it had an odor, I don't know what the smell is because the manufacturer said they use soy. I'm not sure if it's soy, but the cupcake holders have a very unpleasant odor. On my cupcake, one of the pads permanently stain my pain. Muffins and muffins have a slight, negligible flavor difference at…

TERRIBLE PRODUCT! NEVER BUY!

Never buy! I looked at the reviews when I bought them, but decided to be optimistic and ordered them anyway. The product arrived in bad condition: the plastic tube was torn on the sides and several packages were badly dented. I took the wrappers out of the tube and immediately smelled a horrible chemical smell. I decided to let them air out so I left them on for a couple of weeks to try and get rid of the smell. After 2 1/2 weeks I had to make a batch of cupcakes for an event and decided to…

Brittle and greasy. Yellow and pink liners stained my pots!

Advantages of this cupcake paper: - Cute - When stored in an airtight container, it behaves like ordinary cupcake paper. Cons: - They look very oily immediately after baking, until placed in an airtight container for a while. while (oiliness is not particularly attractive). They also seem to be licking more butter/butter into the muffin pans for some reason. They are more brittle than regular cupcake paper immediately after baking, until the cake is stored in an airtight container. At this…
