It's small. It is difficult to see in the photo, but on the side there are 2 external pockets made by twisting the velcro on the back. This allows you to make bags narrower or wider. The top and bottom of the outer pockets are fastened with a strap at the front. Unfortunately, when you open the clasp the bottom of the bag falls out and you can play a little game of tag with your radio/phone/GPS. I have no idea why the strap that goes under the phone is not attached anywhere. If you screw the sides together, the radio/GPS can be removed with one hand, but is then so tight that you have to use two hands to put it back on. You cannot leave the clasp open as this means it has no bottom support. On the plus side, it has handy pen holders on each side, and the zippered back offers a full 6" x 5" card slot.
