Review on ASICS Gel Quantum Infinity Men's Running Shoe by Cameron Chandra

These shoes are a bit heavy for a long distance runner. However, for walking and everyday use at work or averaging 5-10km a day this shoe is phenomenal. I track my steps daily while I work and walk at a high frequency with each step. These shoes changed my life. I usually get a bit of pain in my ankles and knees when I stand for a long time sometimes which causes pressure in my back and dislocations in my legs which is no longer a problem. After using this shoe for several months I can say that this is the best all round performance shoe I have ever owned. I see that some people have had issues with certain personal issues and in some cases low quality during production, but don't let that confuse you. Try these shoes and never look back. A complete game changer, they are amazing. My wife bought a pair right after wearing these sneakers for a week and she says the same thing. The toe box is a little wide and perfect for cushioning as the heels are properly tapered to sit snugly in the middle of the arch of the foot. Since I have slightly flat feet, I don't have a problem with pronation. I also believe this is partly due to the tongue slot which provides very little support for reverse supination. All my old shoes loosen up after about a month and my tongue slips due to my slight pronation of flat feet. The tongues of these shoes are thoughtfully designed, perfectly shaped and placed on the slotted tongue. They hold in place and are very comfortable for me. My only concern is the durability of the gel support sole. They look a bit flimsy, but they hardly wear out after a few months, they are mainly used for walking. However, for a proper heel-to-toe run, I find them ideal. They're a bit pricey, so I'll probably use them for work and trips. I take lighter shoes for a day on the road. Probably Gel Quantum.
