I bought this equalizer because I have a Clarion equalizer but was looking for something cheap but with a good sound. Having owned a huge product in the past I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. This equalizer really boosts the sound of my amp. I run this in my LG v20 with a quad DAC and the sound produced is very clean and clear. Update: May 15, 2020 - I just installed this EQ in my 2019 Honda Ridgeline. The instructions were difficult to understand and not very clear because I was trying to use the factory stereo's high-level inputs. But I hooked up some old RCA cables and connected them to the output of the factory stereo speaker and then connected to the equalizer. The EQ kicks in automatically when the factory stereo speaker outputs are turned on without turning on the remote, but a loud pop came through my speakers every time it was turned on. I was able to correct this turn on click by connecting a remote turn on lead that gave the EQ enough time to turn on the guide signal before the speaker was input. The sound this equalizer produces is great and I still highly recommend it. This is a very flexible EQ with low and high level speaker inputs.
