Sounds OK. It's similar to the Klaron, but the sound quality isn't the same as the Klaron or the volume. I replaced my horn for a temporary short and mine was much cleaner and louder. I don't think the linear actuator is what they say, but you get what you pay for.

WOW AWESOME WITH THIS EQ THIS IS A 9 FREQUENCY EQ NOT 7 LIKE MOST it's loud and clear no noise floor plus it has a red to light switch color blue. The subwoofer output is isolated from other frequencies to fine-tune the bass output. It's a pretty good weight so you know you're getting a quality product! Well done!

I bought this because I need an equalizer that is better than the one built into my main unit. Unfortunately, this device just added noise to my system, and when the engine is running, the engine noise is louder than the actual radio signal. I made sure I had the right ground and played around with it for a while, even the ground loop isolator didn't help. I have decided to remove this block.

If you're looking for deep, satisfying bass, look elsewhere. I bought this to replace an aging Chinese knockoff called the Boschmann (as seen in the attached photos) but I'm disappointed. Annoying when only faded purple and blue are displayed. There is no yellow or orange option. The item also had some scratches and a few cracks that may have appeared during shipping. I may have been a bit hasty, but today I got this EQ and decided to install it (Chevy Cruze 2015).
