Review on Homax 34065 Caulk Keeper Twin Pack by Hesham Peltier

I was hesitant to buy these as they seemed a bit pricey but they really are. You are using a really good idea. I mean it's basically just a piece of plastic, albeit a well designed one. But they do an excellent job of sealing the top of the gasket and are now doing it instead of climbing down a ladder, finding packing tape and carefully sealing it with two layers of duct tape. For professionals who don't use a full tube of caulk, this is a great time and money saver when caulk is expensive. For a homeowner who does all their work, that's fantastic. I'm painting my house and don't want to do it again, so I use the best sealant I can find, which of course is expensive. No more tape or wire nuts (which don't work anyway). Aside from being a bit messy when removed from an open tube, this is a great product.
