Where to start? I ended up buying it because I liked the Star Wars design and was tired of the low battery warnings while gaming + constant AA battery power for my current controller. I was a little nervous about the "Controller Gear" tag in the product description, but as far as I can tell this is a real Xbox controller, complete with a suitably designed charging dock. The controller came with a rechargeable battery that works with the mount, eliminating the need for rechargeable AA batteries or an additional purchase. Out of curiosity, I pulled the battery pack out of the controller and switched it to my Elite Controller and it worked just as well there. Loading speed and duration seem to be good. I had no sign of a low battery during a long session, and by the end of the game, back to standstill, it goes away so it always starts full.
