Although I have a box full of HDMI cables when I got a new state of the art home entertainment receiver and a new closet for everything I decided to start everything new to wire and update all my cables to the latest standards. Due to the different circuit diagram design, I no longer needed a 10" HDMI cable, shorter 3" cables would have been ideal. I didn't think about who to buy cables from. I've had great luck with BlueRigger and love the build quality they offer. This two cable set is attractively priced and the cables match my other HDMI cables (not that it matters, they are not visible). How "tough" a cable is at the end might be a matter of taste, but in my opinion they're spot on. Each of them hangs nicely from the receiver to each component in a straight line, with no chance of twisting like lighter cables do. I also like the way the company does business. Sure, their follow-up emails are automated, but how many companies still thank you for purchasing their product and have them reply to their emails DIRECTLY instead of telling you the email was "Do Not Reply" is? Even if everything were the same and all the cables in the world were the same, I would still choose BlueRigger just for their customer service.
