This product is easy to use. I just plugged it in and it worked. The plastic privacy plug is a nice feature, but I was confused at first because it can't be mounted on the camera. Installation is a call-and-stick process, so it's really easy. I suspect some people might not need this feature and that's why the manufacturer kept it separate.
