The padding underneath this board is super soft and really angular. I've used it in my trailer, in bed, on a glass table, on my desk and even in my chair. No matter where I use it, my laptop fits perfectly on it, including the mouse. I even used my tablet with the detachable keyboard and wireless mouse. And again I was able to work on it without worrying about something slipping off. Unlike other lap desks, this angle allows me to work both seated and lying down. What really surprised me is that when using my wireless mouse, the built-in mouse pad actually works. I have a wireless mouse with a light on the bottom and I can use it on this lap table. Not to mention that my phone with a case fits in one of the slots on the top. What I love about this portable desk is that I can use it at home or on the go.
