Only charges a second time and then just won't work. i will return it I hate Apple for making Lightning to USB-C. I need to keep using my 2012 Lightning cable which is falling apart. UPDATE: I tried a different USB adapter and also used a third-party Lightning cable, not the official cable I was using. before i tested it and now it works with my car usb. At least the other USB will work with any other plug that has a USB-A port as I have a 12w Applestone from my iPad mini 2. It's just the official lightning cable that came with my iPhone 12 that won't work with my car adapter for no reason, or it could be an iOS 15 bug for Apple Carplay.
