This is interesting, but strange. Wood composite is very soft and prone to denting when in contact with other objects. Although larger dolls (four or five of the largest) can be used, the rest of the dolls are so small that they're almost impossible to handle, let alone decorate meaningfully. Although one of the photos honestly shows the size of the dolls, they appear significantly larger on the monitor than in real life. Although I take responsibility for not being more insightful, the smallest doll is actually 0.3 centimeters tall. Not even a full 1/3 of an inch, but the product is marketed as "great for kids" and for parent-child use. Any child small enough to spend "parent-child time" with nesting dolls will certainly be inclined to eat some of the smallest dolls, which are so small they could probably do so without much consequence. The smooth surface makes it difficult to open, although the larger ones are obviously handier than the smaller ones. All in all I'm disappointed, especially with the price, but I can't say they really strayed from the specs. just effects and looks. I personally wouldn't buy it again but they can be saved if you adjust your expectations.
