Review on ๐Ÿ‘ถ VTech VM312-2 Video Baby Monitor: 1000 ft Range, Night Vision, Talk-Back Intercom, 2 Cameras - White/Grey by Holly Garcia

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Excellent price, "fur " quality.

Well most of the bad reviews on here weren't lying. We received this monitor when we were expecting our second child. We already had a basic V-Tech audio monitor, which is great for the price, and thought this video might be of similar value. We were also looking for a way to use two different systems without interference, and that seemed like a good fit. After a few weeks of use, my official opinion is "aha". First, the battery life on this device is just terrible. It can take an hour and a half before it needs to be charged. It's useless if you plan to stay somewhere other than the charger for a long time. Second, the camera takes up very little space. The camera we installed for our little one is installed under the ceiling across the room and we can still only see about 90% of her bed. If she gets up, forget it. She might as well be on Mars. Finally, the sound quality is really strange. Ours overlap a lot. Seriously, battery-powered lullaby echoes and a two-year-old laughing shamelessly at trifles at 2am aren't for the faint of heart. Overall I am not satisfied with this purchase. It works well enough for what we need, so we'll keep using it. But if I had to do it again, I'd spend a little more and get a different monitor.
