Review on 🍎 Hand Painted Melissa & Doug Food Groups by Gregory Shorunov

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Overall really good. Lots of healthy food included but ours has some fries.

I have had this set for over a year now and overall we are very happy with it. Here's a list of what we like and don't like: Pros: - Healthy Food Groups: I chose this set because many have other things like fries, pizza, and desserts. I prefer my son to play with healthy foods because I think it helps him enjoy eating them. It's hard to play with an ice cream cone and then ask your mom to serve you broccoli. Boxes: I love that food comes in cute little boxes. We speak of different food groups when we separate them. It also helps him to tidy up and keep things tidy. Wood: I prefer wooden toys over plastic because of the health risks associated with plastic (although I'm not sure about the color). They also look better and last longer. Cons: - Chips: I had chips on several items. The hamburger bun arrived with a little bit of color missing, not enough to make me send it back, but it was definitely there. Paint peels off when hit or dropped. Heavy: It's obviously heavier than plastic. Throwing can damage or damage the floor/walls/furniture. Overall I would buy them again. My son plays with it every day in his small kitchen with the M&D sandwich maker.
