First off, I have not been paid or given anything special for providing this review. I scored this light fixture on Prime Day (2 weeks ago) and I installed it after I received it 2 days later. I put this in my 13' x 26' garage/work shop/laundry room and had it mounted in less than 15 minutes. The difference really is night and day! It lights up my whole garage and replaces the two light bulbs I originally had running the show (main garage light and a lamp I had in my laundry area).I run this fixture on my garage's light switch. In order to do this, I bought an additional adapter ("GE polarized handy outlet plug" 2 pack for $5.91) which screws into a light socket and turns it into a 120v outlet. After I hung the light, I plugged it into this newly formed outlet, flipped my light switch on, then pulled the chain on the fixture to the ON position. I will never need to pull that chain ever again.There are no real cons to this product. The only thing that anyone could complain about is that it may inconvenience them for less than half a second as it powers on to provide amazing illumination.I would buy more if I had the need for them, but one is all I need.
