Review on 🏺 Premium 2500ml Traditional Glass Fermenting Jar with Airlock Lid - Ideal for 1/2 Gallon Fermentation by Richard Stewart

Craftsmanship and elegance are a reliable topic of conversation.

This is a handcrafted glass version of an antique elegant design, a beautiful, practical fermenter which, as the vegetables and process can be observed live, is actually a conversation piece. Although I haven't run it many, many batches yet, its performance has been solid so far. I find the size to be pretty reasonable, a bit too big for me (half a gallon of pickled stuff lasts well over a month, and, well, I like to release batches every few weeks, just for fun and a change). On the other hand, if you're careful to keep it closed and not let the water seal evaporate, this design seems fairly mold resistant (none so far, zero) even when the jar isn't full, even without a scale. Some people seem to shy away from glass; It's not thick, but the bullet - the shape is strong - don't drop it, don't lift it over the moat, it's fine. I propped up the bottom and gave a few vigorous turns until it was full, no problem.
