my dtr was obsessed with cotton candy and was always asking for a cotton candy machine. As long as you understand that this is a personal cotton candy machine and not an industrial machine that will do much for the party, it's perfect. It was also nice that everything was packaged as a kit (including cotton candy and paper sticks) but some people might get upset that the packaging is basically a big box with the car thrown away in it and paper wrapped around it (separate packaging for paper sticks ). ). We've tried this before and it works great making about 2 small cotton candy sticks.
