For a cheap cotton candy machine, it does its job quite well. One problem is that a lot of sugar gets into the ring around the inside edge of the pink ringed bull. My kids named this cute event "Unicorn Poop". You can put it back in the spinner to make cotton candy, or you can eat it right out of the machine. The only real downside is that it starts to shake after about 15 minutes of use and gets really noisy under load. Although I would buy it again.

I would give more stars if the transparent part actually snaps into place as instructed. It doesn't rattle and is very annoying. I used some binding clips to keep it from rattling. Second, it throws away a fair amount of sugar instead of turning it into cotton candy, but I think most come at that price. Tip: hold the chopsticks/cones inside out over clear plastic. In general, the price is worth it. if you use it for your family. Make it long for the party.

my dtr was obsessed with cotton candy and was always asking for a cotton candy machine. As long as you understand that this is a personal cotton candy machine and not an industrial machine that will do much for the party, it's perfect. Love this machine! We bought two of these because it was number one on my 10 year old daughter's Christmas list and we thought my nieces would love it too. (They are 10, 8 and 6 years old) We gave the first one to our nieces today because we celebrated Christmas with them early. The machine worked great!
