Easy to install and works great - turns itself off after 5 minutes. I have 12 T-8 2 tube lights and by the age of 8 the ballasts were starting to pulverize. So I fixed the first one with this ballast and then banged my head and found the LED bulbs! While this is a reliable product, there is no point in replacing the ballast in my opinion. Replacing the ballast and fluorescent bulbs in a fixture is roughly equivalent to throwing the ballast and old bulbs in the trash and installing LEDs. So I installed LED bulbs on the remaining 11 lights. They use less power, emit more light, last longer, give you more color options, they're made of plastic rather than glass so they're safer and easier to use, and they're completely silent - not a problem for me. If you decide to use LED bulbs, look for bulbs that are powered from both ends (as opposed to single ended) and choose your bulb temperature carefully. I chose 5000K bulbs and if I were to do it again I would choose 3-4000K. Higher temperature lamps are intense but I found them a bit harsh.
