I use two of these lights in an antique opal glass ceiling light in a hallway where I don't need a bright, obtrusive light when you enter my home, but a warm, inviting light. You are perfect. They replaced 2 50 watt crystal light bulbs which flickered slightly but used too much electricity to last all night. I actually toned them down a bit for a warmer effect, but they are perfect and come into their own when you need a brighter light. They are bright enough for indoor overhead lighting, which requires two or three bulbs. I also use one in an antique banker's lamp. Nice. Unbelievable that they only use 2 watts each. I'm very glad I found her. Highly recommended when you need a warm, cozy light.
