After 8 months: Very comfortable, very poor fit

Undoubtedly these knee pads are comfortable. However, they come with one size straps and never fit properly. Size The elastic bands are too long, so the sewn-in Velcro just doesn't work. As a result, they slipped off my shins a bit, so they had to be adjusted very often. I've tried fixing it by tying the straps but to no great extent. I'm a 6ft 200lb guy, pretty average in the business. Durability They appear to be very durable, which is mostly true. I had a bad rivet that caused the molded shell to detach slightly from the foam padding. Also, they suffered greatly. The foam pads are still in great condition and the shell is in acceptable condition considering how it has been used. Weak points are the only problem (fasteners). Applications I use these knee pads in many situations from roofing and flooring to concrete work, the latter as expected really tinting the shell. BUT, if you're using them for concrete work, expect dirt and grit to get into the knee pads due to an improper fit of the strap. However, this risk of use is not a product defect as it is not sold for concrete work. Final Thoughts Great knee pads but the only downside that makes me regret my purchase is the fit of the strap. Wearing them was and is sometimes a chore. However, they are very comfortable and have saved my knees a lot of problems so far.

Pros
  • Knee Pads
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
