damn strong, ok, not 48 sheets but a dozen at a time, that's pretty handy for most of the waste paper in an envelope; no val pak but they are like a piece of paper in their own right. I like the built in case where the chopper is not just the tip but the whole and then the bucket comes out empty. This is a good size for a desktop that looks more like a PC. quite heavy, but I think it works in his favor. I noticed that he was also quite calm. A good amount of safety features, the blades are located far down the body so they are a few inches from the microgroove to begin with. Lift or pull something and it turns off. works (helps cool motor between cuts if running). Of course, it doesn't work without a bucket either. Eats CDs like his Napster. I also like all the LEDs that make it look cooler. Not much loot for him and he's heavy for the home player, even perfect for an HR die or something; Unless you need higher security, it's just a cross cut, not a sure cut, so I'm thinking level 2?
