Review on Cat Mate Locking Flap White by Tanya Gutierrez

This door is perfect for my cat! After accidentally leaving my poor cat outside during a thunderstorm, I needed a way to get her onto our porch by herself. This door is for screens (that's how I use them) or thin doors (listed up to 1/2" but actually fits up to 3/4"). It took a little temptation with the treats to show her how to use them a few times and hold the door open until she was comfortable enough to use them, but after a week or so she started using them to use yourself. I like the four-way locking system, it's easy to use. And I like the size, price and color of this door. I placed the top of the door 10.5 inches off the floor so my cat could push on the bottom of the door without her tummy dragging along the floor (few cats like their stomachs to touch!). My cat's shoulders are 7.5 inches, her ear tips are 10 inches, and she weighs 11 pounds. This door is perfect for her and I highly recommend using it for dividers or thin doors for small to medium sized cats!
