I recently connected a computer designed for retro gaming to my TV in a man cave and there is no substitute for a wired connection for an arcade controller. The cable that came with my controller was relatively long, but not long enough to work with a large TV. The solution is an extension. The build quality is excellent, the female end is solid metal and fits snugly. Haven't tested speed yet as I only use it with one controller, but no misses or jumps so far. One thing to note is the thick cable. If you want to use it when traveling, put it in your registered bag because it's heavy. That's not a plus or minus, just a fact.
