rant: So I figured I'd pretty much dealt with the herd of USB cables. Mini, micro, and all those pathetic one-way connections on the dark back of an electronic device sitting on the floor with cat hair all over it. Well, Olympus cameras (now defunct by the way) decided to make their own personal USB connectors/cables because they felt the existing versions weren't enough. Overview: This cable is absolutely suitable for Olympus cameras. If you have a choice, updating the SD card firmware for the cameras isn't as difficult as a direct USB internet connection, but if you're stuck with the Olympus firmware, this cable will come to the rescue. I really appreciate that the wonderful people who run this company are selling this really weird cable. This is a solid little cable, packaged well and delivered at a reasonable price.
