Overall I'm very happy with this build. I upgraded from a 2080ti i9 9900k and I have to say the difference in performance is huge. Pros: - Excellent quality SSD - very happy they went with the 2TB Swordfish for this setup. Download speeds are very fast - You can't go wrong with the 3090+i9 10900kf - Plug and play - you get your computer, plug it in and it all just works. No fiddling around in the bios, no issues to fix right after boot. - Great place to work. I need assemblies with exceptional processing power to work, and this really works. โ CUK has provided me with excellent customer service โ I have contacted them several times over the past few years (they also owned my 2080). They always help to send small spare parts or answer questions. The infinity mirror on the front is just amazing. I can live 100% without tons of RGB in the case - I personally find it a bit gaudy, but to each his own. The compact structure required a lot of planning. Cable management is also top notch. Having USB C and USB 3.2 is great as I can connect an external SSD and get great transfer speeds. The package arrived before the expected date and was expertly protected in transit. You'll have to screw up a lot to damage this thing before it arrives. Airflow/water cooling is excellent. Despite heavy loads, the temperature remains low for a long time. minuses. That's a big minus. The 3090 included in this build doesn't appear to be very powerful compared to other builds with similar parts. User Benchmark rated it in the 20th percentile. This means that 80 out of 100 people with a 3090 will have more powerful GPUs despite identical hardware. (Note I haven't overclocked yet) - you'll run out of USB ports per IO, there just aren't enough. It wasn't a big problem for me since my monitor works like a USB adapter. There are two extra USB 3s on top, but using them would ruin the look. While the SSD is great, the hard drive leaves a lot to be desired. User testing placed this in the 11th percentile. The confirmed transfer rate is 102 MB/s. It also makes an awful noise every now and then when I move large amounts of data off my SSD. Would have paid more for a better option if offered. Verdict: Overall I think they did an excellent job of combining form and function. The choice of components is obviously well thought out and perfectly matched. I feel like I picked a good time to make this purchase, so take my review with a grain of salt. Cost $4,300 at time of order, item arrived in less than 5 days. Which is very impressive for a just in time (and inclement weather) FBM seller. I have a friend who also ordered the same thing a few weeks after me but unfortunately he didn't have the order. He said support is good but wished they had a phone line.
