I've tried various home improvement alarm systems and these are absolutely perfect. I started with a few of them to test and ended up buying 3 more sets. Why? 1) Extremely easy to set up. There is a small amount of clearance between the magnets and the alarm itself, so if your windows/doors and frames don't line up, no problem. 2) Reach! I can arm and disarm units in my basement from the second floor. I was very surprised and happy about it! 3) Compatibility of components. I had to watch youtube videos to figure out how to do it but turns out you can pair any transmitter to work with ALL alarms and ALL transmitters can be paired to activate each individual alarm. 4) The plethora of keychain transmitters. Each alarm clock comes with a transmitter so each family member can have one that works just like the next. 5) Panic Button: Since I can trigger an alarm from such a long distance, I use one of the transmitters as a panic button in my bedroom. If I hit the flash button, I can set off ALL the alarms throughout the house at the same time. If the $%#t doesn't deter the attacker, then nothing will. 6) Doorbell Function: You can set the alarm to double ring to warn you when someone opens the door or window. It's quite loud, but would be nice if you're outside or in the basement and want that kind of alert. 7) Cost: I paid a lot more for a lot less when I started testing different home security components. I returned the rest after seeing what this system is capable of. 8) Power supply: I like that they are battery powered. So if the power goes out, they still work. minus points? No web notifications when your system goes down. It's an attacker-centric, real-time system, not a surveillance system (so no monthly fees are another plus). To solve this problem, I also bought some Reolink security cameras to keep an eye on my house. They notify me when motion is detected in the house. Since it has two-way audio, I should hear a hell of a rumble when someone actually walks in. In any case, I am very satisfied with the synergy between the two systems.
