only time will tell how long they last. 3 stars for ease of installation as special tools are required to install and replace the sensor ID in the vehicle. Yes, these sensors are "pre-programmed" but the car must also be programmed to use the new sensors. Before installation, be sure to write down the ID printed on the sensors. On my 2011 Ford Focus I had to use an OBD scanner with TPMS capability to tell the car the new sensor ID. Otherwise, the vehicle's relearn function will not "see" the new sensor. Inserting the sensor into the tire takes some effort and I highly recommend using both a lever valve insertion tool and a fish valve (wire) tool. A T10 bit in a 1/4 spanner was used to remove the old sender from the valve stem before prying the old stem out with a pry tool. The new sensor was inserted with the fish valve tool and then carefully installed with the pry tool.
