My son is a bit tall. He is 11 and 97 pounds. My biggest criticism of these pants wasn't so much that they were too tight in his hips, but that the fabric really varied from pair to pair and I doubt he would wear two of these if addressed and we have them to keep. I ended up buying charcoal hugs and they are soft and have extra space.
