Ideal for adding extra sockets in your garage that you can turn on and off to prevent wastage and also prevent circuit breakers from tripping when you have two heavy duty tools on the same circuit. My example: My garage isn't heated, so I have a Micron heater and an air compressor on the same circuit, and when the switches are on, I can make sure they don't turn on at the same time, causing the switch to trip. The metal body is nice and thick and durable, the sockets aren't cheap and should last for many years, the rocker switches are lightweight and are the first to fail. This device also has a nice long braided cord so you can get the device out of an outlet where you need it. Overall I recommend going for this, there are better ones out there but at this price you get more than what you paid for.
