🔌 Certified Black Protector Extension with Independent Switches Review

I bought 3 of these as extensions for my solar system. The lights feel solid and don't flicker like other cheap extension cords and are easy to see from across my garage in the dark. What I love about this particular power strip is the ability to turn off each individual outlet with a switch. It compresses my system with this built-in function.

I have never seen a power cable that can withstand such loads on an extension. I just received it, so I'll have to update my review of its performance later. There is not much to say about the power extension cable. I love it. I just ordered my fourth extension. My fourth came on June 2nd, not June 4th-25th. An indicator light just went out so I have to send the last one back.

Poor quality switch. I bought two of these so my son and I could completely turn off the devices on our computer desks. My son told me that three of his switches weren't working. I'm a day late to return this product so I'll stick with it. Look at previous reviews today and other people mentioned cheap/broken switches as well. Avoid this product.

Sockets quite far apart; I put my biggest rock on one and was able to use a regular plug in a nearby outlet. Reason for my return: The cable is like a non-metallic Romex, hardly flexible. I've had it hanging on my fork for 2 weeks now and it's still curling. It will be best for a garage or workshop; I can't use it on my desk. Other reviewers have commented on the crappy switches, and that worries me too.

Used to power my backup generator set. The power to my house has been interrupted twice since purchase. It's great to be able to plug something in once and then be able to power up different circuits as needed instead of having to plug and unplug to keep the oscillator from overclocking and stay there when I don't need everything to always be connected be. I love the length of the cord, but I have one major issue with this product. The switches are too sensitive, and without them being fully on or off, a light press can cut power, causing whatever is plugged in to blink or turn off without the switch actually being fully on. I thought I might have a defective one so I asked Revain to replace it but the new one was the same. Ideal for adding extra sockets in your garage that you can turn on and off to prevent wastage and also prevent circuit breakers from tripping when you have two heavy duty tools on the same circuit. My example: My garage isn't heated, so I have a Micron heater and an air compressor on the same circuit, and when the switches are on, I can make sure they don't turn on at the same time, causing the switch to trip.
