I got them mainly for heavy pocket work, but also for occasional sparring. I'm new to boxing and wanted something easier to use than bandages that you have to wrap yourself. They seemed like a great alternative. I received the medium and they fit perfectly! They sit nice and tidy, and the velcro strap keeps the wrist tight. It also adds extra cushioning around my joints which is great! They are very high quality and seem to be holding up well (I use them in the Everlast Pro Style 16oz training gloves). The velcro at the bottom can be tightened to ensure the wrist stays in the correct position easily and as long as you apply the velcro straight you will have no problems with the velcro rubbing your wrist/hand. Unless you straighten it you will feel the edge rubbing your skin, but if you make sure it's straight it fits perfectly and provides great support for your wrist, knuckles and hand in general. I am very happy with them! They're a great alternative to hand wrapping, they fit great and as long as they're put on correctly (the velcro is nice and straight) they don't chafe. I highly recommend them for their support and comfort, and most importantly for not having to wrap your hands! Highly recommended! - Also note that these are hand wraps, not boxing gloves, they are just an alternative to long wraps that you wrap around and through your hands. These are not gloves and should be worn under gloves.
