Update: Not durable

using them as gloves for heavy bags. But the bag I use isn't exactly heavy. In any case, they are one size larger. 9 inch arms around knuckles and thumb to pinky. The only downside at the moment is that my wrists are a bit thin so the brace is a little loose, a little more support would be nice. In terms of effect, they feel good. Update: after about 6 weeks of use they started to fall apart visually. Not even daily use - 2-3 times a week. Other reviews of poor staying power seem to be…

Good for the wrist, bad for the fist

They're better than many similar products but definitely fall short of traditional hand wraps. When I hit the sack without bandages, I feel it in my wrists first. When I wear them, I can feel them in the tendons of my arms. So the wrist brace is useful, but it doesn't compress your hand when you make a fist like traditional wraps do. I'll probably still use them occasionally on non-wrap days to tidy up my hands. Overall it didn't meet my expectations.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • boring packaging

I would still recommend traditional bandages

I bought these for boxing to wear under gloves instead of traditional bandages for support. First, the sizing is wrong; Definitely go smaller than you think if you need a snug, protective fit. In any case, they don't give you the wrist and hand support you need for this type of workout. A lot of people complain about tears, but I think they wear them without gloves. However, despite these comments, I still recommend the traditional packaging.

Good Gel Hand Wraps

These Gel Hand Wraps are great. Sometimes I'm late for training and don't have time to bandage my hands, so I just put them on. This is my second pair; My first pair lasted a few years as I used them occasionally with regular hand wraps. Two observations: 1) The sizing isn't ideal for women's hands - I got an average on my first pair and they were a little tight. This time I ordered the large ones and they are a bit loose but they still work well in my boxing gloves 2) Although the material is…

Good product but not a perfect replacement for traditional wraps.

They are very comfortable but cannot replace traditional hand wraps. This is because normal bandages do not tear with the same use. When I used these bandages for training instead of traditional bandages due to their gel, I found that after a few weeks they began to tear at the seams between the joints. They were also slightly larger than they should have been. (I tried on a pair in the store in the same size and color and they fit much better than the ones I got from Amazon.) But for the…

Still undecided - Other Sports

I bought these because I was tired of using hand wraps and all that comes with it - washing them, air drying them, folding them back up. Then of course you have to wrap them around your hands when using them, then unroll them and start the wash cycle all over again. I was fed up with that and wanted something faster and more efficient. I like them because they are much quicker to put on and take off. Haven't washed them yet but looks like letting them air dry will be easy. My only undecided…

Pleasantly surprised, I screwed the Velcro tighter to my hand.

I've always used real bandages, not gloves. I just like to use a heavy bag for training, I'm not a professional fighter/boxer/MMA. I hit pretty hard at least what I consider strong because I have bag issues and the rack moves too much (rack rocks and moves across the floor - 100lb bag on a heavy metal frame) . I decided to try them out because I had kind of lost my cases. When I first put them on I didn't feel like they would work for me. They were not supportive or stabilizing. I decided to…

Great gloves! I advise!

They're amazing, just like the ones in Dick's Sporting Goods. My blacks had a gray stripe down the back like the other colors you see as well as the Everlast logos, the same as Dicks. The only difference between them and Dicks is that they don't have a small hole in their palms. They have an internal Velcro wrist strap to tighten the glove around the wrist, as well as an elastic band that wraps the entire wrist with the desired level of tension, and tight Velcro straps. They protect your joints

  • The best in their niche

Great bandages (much better than bandages)

I got them mainly for heavy pocket work, but also for occasional sparring. I'm new to boxing and wanted something easier to use than bandages that you have to wrap yourself. They seemed like a great alternative. I received the medium and they fit perfectly! They sit nice and tidy, and the velcro strap keeps the wrist tight. It also adds extra cushioning around my joints which is great! They are very high quality and seem to be holding up well (I use them in the Everlast Pro Style 16oz training…
