They are very comfortable but cannot replace traditional hand wraps. This is because normal bandages do not tear with the same use. When I used these bandages for training instead of traditional bandages due to their gel, I found that after a few weeks they began to tear at the seams between the joints. They were also slightly larger than they should have been. (I tried on a pair in the store in the same size and color and they fit much better than the ones I got from Amazon.) But for the price, they're great. The wrist support is great and they are quick and easy to put on compared to a standard 180 inch wrap. If you wear the right boxing gloves over them, they will last and look great.
