Really reliable and fast, quick driver installation

Oh my god. WiFi card. Stable connection, no increase in ping/latency. I'm used to a direct gigabit ethernet fios connection. So when I moved to a country house with old walls etc., I was disappointed to find that my laptop's internal WiFi chip could only reach 70Mbps. where dbi is to be used (stronger, more reliable compared to distance), walls and interference etc. And this adapter was a simple install with a driver download and install (no reboot. It integrates the wi-fi control into the Wi-Fi icon by default in Windows 10, so you can easily switch between Wifi1 (internal Wi-Fi card) and Wifi2 (TP-Link adapter) Wi-Fi card and not other factors, you can check it , by connecting a direct ethernet cable from the router to your laptop and check the speed, and check the WiFi connection with your laptop next to the router itself. It should match the full speed provided by your ISP If not, the problem may be in the router. There is an application that scans signals from nearby Wi-Fi channels to make sure there are no conflicts. Go to your router settings and switch to a clear channel to eliminate interference. This device supports USB 3.0 and I have no doubt the 5GHz bandwidth is believed to be capable of delivering the claimed 1300Mbps. In this case, the ISP's gigabit connection, if any, is the bottleneck. Otherwise I see no point in insisting on using it on a USB 3.0 port if you don't have one. USB 2.0 technically supports speeds of up to 480Mbps, which is more than what most on-premises ISP packages offer.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • No insurance
