This Back Button Mount is a game changer! PS must have messed up their news the day it was published because either all the stores were sold out or the staff didn't know when it was going to happen. or internet releases had different release dates. We continue. I never thought I would buy a $200+ controller just to try the back buttons. So when it came out I had to take the opportunity to see what all the hype was about. First, the fit and finish is great and the clicks are tactile. . I wish the screen was on the front, but that's just a minor issue. It's a little more than I thought. If they reduced the height of the keys a bit, that would be perfect. The game takes a lot of getting used to, at least for me. I did find myself pressing the right back button when trying to press R2 to fire, but that worked in my favor as I successfully landed a few drops lol. Even if, like me, you hold your controller while you play and know that it's in your hands, it makes the game more enjoyable, but actually the holder prevents you from doing so. Once attached, the buttons are under your middle fingers, so the only fingers actually holding the controller are your ring and pinky fingers, but I'm getting used to that. Overall, I'm glad PS finally released their own version of the backrest. and hopefully this is a taste of what's to come with the new DualShock 5 (hopefully the elite version 😬).
