Background. I've been using and installing snow chains since the 1980's. I have had many chain sets from useless cable chains to standard heavy duty chains. First Review: These chains were purchased for my Kubota RTV 500 front tires. The tire size is 24x9.00-12. My concern with purchasing any chain other than installation is clearance. I was happy to see that the gauge of these chains wasn't too thick, unlike the chains on my trucks. Thus, they protrude from the side of the tire by about 1 inch or less. It helped clean my suspension and front brake components. I think even though they have lighter tracks the car is also a lot lighter than a road vehicle. . "V-handles" look really aggressive. The real test will be how they perform in snow and mud when really needed. I also just ordered a set of rear tires. I will update this review once I have more data.
