not a true Thunderbolt 3 device, only USB C 3.1 10GB

I like the build of the device. I like having a hard drive and extra ports in one. but I was under the impression that it was a 40GB Thunderbolt 3 device, which it isn't. very sad. I'm not getting the speed I thought I was supposed to be getting. Folks, we need to do a better job of making it clear that these aren't Thunderbolt 3 spreeds. The guys couldn't even put in an SD card 3.0, let alone 4.0
