Review on Micro Connectors 500Ft Solid Shielded (Stp) Cat6 Bulk Ethernet Cable - Gray (TR4-560SHGR-500) by Joe Vazquez

Excellent cable, thick jacket, tough

I ran this cable in my 4 bedroom house. My office was downstairs when we moved in and I had plumbing running from the ground floor to the attic. From there I installed a single point for each room in the house, plus 3-4 extra lines for cameras and extra backups. The descents were fairly smooth, but the cable was difficult to pull through the line. I have about 12 leads going through a 2 inch duct. After about 4 lines it got difficult. The last 2-3 I really struggled to get him to move one foot at a time. I'm not sure if it was due to the thickness of the cable or the combination of grooves on the cable jacket. Cable: Category 6A (Unshielded Twisted Pair) UTP cable. It's solid stranded copper with a center slot and a ripcord (which doesn't really help with cutting the jacket. The jacket is thicker than most cables and can't really be stripped with a simple wire stripper. I had to use another tool to cleanly cut the Sheath has unusual grooves In terms of stiffness this cable is stiff compared to cat 6 and cat 5e I had a choice, I bought enough to do all my exterior and interior walls so I'm sticking with it for now. which made it difficult to bend the cables back into the wall cavity far enough to mount the panel to the wall. This is an indication of its stiffness. It's a remake box that only uses drywall It works, but I'm afraid my plaster The cardboard could fail and make my hole big dumb.
