All striped colors are the same color (white)

It's hard to tell the difference between different striped colors (orange stripe, blue stripe, etc.) because they all have only one consistent color, which is white. so it is easy to confuse them. Example: solid blue -> solid blue striped blue -> white solid orange -> solid orange striped orange -> white etc. So you need to be careful when unwinding the cables.

A clear sign of clever design.

0 stars to tighten. doesn't stretch because it shouldn't. This is the second coil. 6a which I bought because the former only worked both editing/routing through a 2 story house, punching connection points and impeccable signal transmission. Now THIS reel brings digital access to our 1977 home in 2021. BUY!

This is NOT 23AWG! It's 26AWG!

This is NOT 23AWG! It's 26 AWG! Was glad to find a reasonably priced 6A but got scammed! Now I have to find another dealer at the last minute! )

If speed is important to you, DO NOT BUY!

I bought this coil because I needed to run several CAT6 coils outside along the wall of my house to connect multiple rooms together. I wanted something with shielding and UV protection as the cable will be in direct sunlight for part of the day. The cable itself is very strong, very stiff. I really believe that it will last for years without any problems. As one of the other reviewers said, I REALLY wish I would a) test the cable speed before installing it and b) really read these reviews with…

New network with wired backhaul - cable worked perfectly

I just upgraded my internal home network from a mostly Wi-Fi mesh network to a wired backhaul to all routers (1 main and 2 access points). This required running 4 new new lines inside the walls to the new router. We then wired additional rooms for dedicated network connections. This cable has a tough outer jacket but is flexible enough to get through tight spaces. 3 out of 4 runs were at least 50 feet long. We recorded the speed on the modem and then again on the back of the wireless router…

good durable cable for computer and accessories

I used it to power a POE system for security cameras in my attic. It's not really necessary for my current camera system, but we plan to stay in this house longer and I've decided it's worth going with Cat6A instead of Cat5E for now. The cable looks well made. It's quite bulky, about twice the thickness of the Cat5E. The conductors are solid copper and the sheathing seems pretty solid. It works great with my cameras and I'm sure it will get better with time. The kit contains 10 covers and…

Excellent cable, thick jacket, tough

I ran this cable in my 4 bedroom house. My office was downstairs when we moved in and I had plumbing running from the ground floor to the attic. From there I installed a single point for each room in the house, plus 3-4 extra lines for cameras and extra backups. The descents were fairly smooth, but the cable was difficult to pull through the line. I have about 12 leads going through a 2 inch duct. After about 4 lines it got difficult. The last 2-3 I really struggled to get him to move one foot…

Awesome Computers & Accessories

Very heavy and thick cable. Note that it is shielded and 23 gauge so may not fit in your RJ45 jacks. Even if the wires match, the sheathed cable must not get into the RJ45. It's super fat. I use this to get to my Ubiquiti hotspots from my Switch. 1000 fdx no problem.
