I totally agree with the previous review. Very nice watch as you can see in the picture. However, what cannot be seen in the picture is the scale. I wanted a watch with a 5 or 6 inch face diameter and this watch has a much smaller face. Yes, I am disappointed in that. I still buy table clocks with large faces. Watch buying lessons: a) Try to find out what scale this watch is before you buy it; b) Get used to trial and error. I've bought other desk clocks that have a larger face, but the face is light gray and not bright enough (white) to see through a room without sunlight, which for me is the point of having a larger face. There is a lot of trial and error with online shopping so now I have to live with this watch which I wasn't hoping for. Buying in person at a hardware store has an advantage. However, there is no choice, so choose your poison.
