Just received this and am impressed, especially the price. The WiFi was just connecting when I inserted the key. It came out of the box and reads the types of barcodes I need, although I don't need much and I'm not a very everyday user. There's next to no setup required, unless you want to turn vibrations or beeps on or off, or add input/carriage return - it's all simple and easy by scanning the QR on the manual (keep the manual handy for future reference ). It is well balanced in the hand and is quite light. Other reviews mention that it's too easy, Scanning barcodes nearby for it and not the one you want. I did not find it. It has a small red laser dot that it projects and as long as you build a dot on the code you want there doesn't seem to be a problem. Again, I don't scan many barcodes quickly (I use it for bits of text that I need to type frequently). The build quality is good and helps at a low cost.
