I ordered this because I needed to escape the pain traditional masks were causing my poor ears. The material is really soft and stays cool, we live in Florida where nothing stays cool! I could definitely breathe, although that's not a problem. Unfortunately I had to gift it to my teenage niece as it was definitely too small for my large head and face. I'm not exaggerating when I say that. My daughter was born in the 25th percentile and 90th for her head. The doctor was worried until she measured my head and said it doesn't matter there are problems in the family :) So I think someone with a normal head, the niece is 16 years old and works great, will be good they.
