If you don't want your phone to be attached to the dashboard or window, then this holder is for you. On me, a 2014 Civic, my cup holder sticks out a bit so I have to keep looking down to see something or use the GPS while driving. But for cars that have cup holders a bit further forward, this may work for you. It fits snugly in the cup holder and holds the phone well. It's Manuel, so you have to close it with two fingers (takes some practice but is easy). But it also charges your phone.
