If your 1080P video sources work well (like PS4) and your 4K drops frequently (like PS5), then this is your go-to product. This is exactly what I experienced with my 10ft HDMI cable and this product solved the problem perfectly! The PS5 feels just as responsive, so I didn't feel any extra input lag, which is a huge plus for gamers! but I recommend just powering it (I used a standard Apple USB charger for pure 5V power) with a good quality external USB power plug (no gas station chargers!) so it just works and no excitement caused ;-)
