It was very easy to replace my old lock and it comes with all the parts you need when installing a new door. The fittings are excellent quality and definitely stronger than the ones I've replaced. Protection against hacking and blocking (like with a credit card) is given. The keys are large and oddly shaped, but I like them because they stand out from my other keys. Use in the bedroom. Reviewers say they're easy to spot with a coin, be careful what kind of pen you buy. The doorway style is for a closet or other door that does not require a lock. The "Privacy" lock is only locked from the inside, has no key and can be opened from the outside with a tool (or a coin). Finally, the "entrance" lock with two keys is much more secure. . Can be used to lock a bedroom, garage entrance or front door.
