We moved into our new home 4 months before purchasing this system and found that we have very hard water. We had never experienced hard water before and ended up purchasing a water softener system to solve this problem. We knew we were using sodium (salt) to treat and soften the water, but the company that installed the softener assured us that using the softener and drinking softened water would not have any negative health effects. After drinking water for a few weeks, we began to feel sick, lethargic, and constantly thirsty. After doing a little research on the internet we found that we had a major problem and was getting tons of sodium from softened water which was potentially causing health issues. We found that we could fix this by installing a reverse osmosis system and after much research we settled on this system. It was a bit more expensive than some of the others but the reviews were very positive. We received the device and it was VERY easy to install. The instructions were very clear and we didn't need a professional to install it. IMMEDIATELY we could see a difference in our water. Any previous health issues we had before have disappeared and are no longer a problem. So we wondered how bad the water was. We bought a TDS tester with this system and were shocked at how bad our tap water was and how good the water this system was producing. Our softened tap water gave a total of 314-345, which is considered the "minimum acceptable" drinking water. With this reverse osmosis system, we constantly reach level 14, which is considered "ideal drinking water". The water tastes so good that we take liters of water with us on our trips. All of our friends who visited us remarked on the good taste of the water and asked about this particular system. Aside from the great taste and enhanced health benefits, there are three other things that we really liked about this particular system: 1) The pump in this system allows you to get water quickly. We had doubts about the reverse osmosis system because we went to a friends house and experienced a slow flow of water that took forever to fill a cup. With a backup tank and pump in this system, we can fill a 16 ounce glass in about 5 seconds. You don't have to wait for water. We especially like it when a lot of people come to us. 2) Filters only need to be changed once a year, not every few months. I was curious about this since we drink a lot of water in our house. Our family consists of six people and we use this water for our aquarium, our dog, our goats and our chickens. Do filters really last that long? I've used the TDS meter all year round and always found the same readings. When it was a year, the filters were easy to order and install by yourself.3) After-sales service of this goods manufacturer. I can't say enough about how professional they are and how quick they were to respond. We had an issue with the water not coming out as quickly after changing the filters. When water comes out at a certain pressure and ends up coming out much slower, that was a big problem. We reached out to the manufacturer for help and they immediately went to work to figure out what the problem was. The problem has been discovered and they have secured their product. I cannot say enough about how pleased we have been with their customer service. Probably the best customer service I've ever experienced. I know this is a long review but felt it necessary to explain all of the reasons I gave this particular product and company a 5 star rating. We have been using this product for a year and a half now, are completely satisfied with it and can recommend it. Water is what we drink every day and add to coffee and food, so clean, great-tasting water is a must. This product changes lives!
