I used a ledger that was the same thickness as the boards on the back of the panel. The ledger was about 4 inches wide. Our walls are drywall, so I used a Zip-it wall anchor and 2" stainless steel screws to attach the scoreboard to the wall. I then placed the wall panels on top of the LED panel and screwed them in using black epoxy drywall screws, 2" pan head screws with a large #6 thread. The screws were inserted into the center of the edge panels of each panel. I took my time. , making sure that everything lay evenly and absolutely tightly together. The end product - they fit the wall perfectly, are perfectly flat and look great. Exactly what we were looking for. I chose this method of attachment as it will be almost permanent for us. so I won't move it. This is an excellent headboard for a movable bed. I was impressed that your panels are very straight and vertical. The back is perfectly straight and even. That made the work a lot easier. You can use my schematics to help others install if you like.
