I had my doubts but it works well. I have terrible allergies and have a dog and cat that sleep on my bed. Yes, I am allergic to both. I took off my bed and washed everything. I vacuumed the mattress. Then each layer as I lay it back. I made all the pillows in my room and only one big chair. couch nearby. I use it every night before bed and every morning when I make my bed. It helps. I bought a stand and it's a handy and attractive way to keep it around the room with no cables (there's a cable compartment on the back of the stand with a hole for you to thread it through). Worth the investment. Haven't cleaned it yet so can't rate it but I hope so.
